BKMEA President Mohammad Hatem today inaugurated the 11th Bangladesh Yarn Fabrics Accessories Show 2025 at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka. He attended the ceremony as the chief guest and wished the exhibition great success.

In his address, BKMEA President described the event as a global platform that facilitates easier access to the fabric sourcing hub. Although Bangladesh has recently overcome the challenge of US tariffs, the upcoming LDC graduation poses another significant obstacle, he noted. “Bangladesh is not yet prepared to face the challenges after graduation. That’s why BKMEA is working to negotiate with government bodies so that we are not caught in this trap,” he stated.

Following the inauguration, Mr. Hatem visited various exhibition stalls. President of BGAPMEA Md. Shahriar and BGMEA Director Kazi Mizanur Rahman were also present at the event.
