BKMEA has finalized its leadership for the 2025–2027 tenure through the office bearer’s election held at the head office in Narayanganj.
Mohammad Hatem has been elected President, while Fazlee Shamim Ehsan assumes the role of Executive President. Amal Podder will serve as the Senior Vice President, and Morshed Sarwar as Vice President (Finance). 
The elected five Vice Presidents are Md. Shamsuzzaman (Micro Fiber Group), Gauhar Siraj Jamil (Chattogram), Ashiqur Rahman, Fakir Kamruzzaman Nahid and Mohammad Rashed. The election process, conducted as per the schedule set by the Election Board, saw nine nominations submitted for the nine posts. After verification by the election board all the nominations are declared valid and the candidates were elected unopposed.
There are 26 elected Directors in the board. They are:
Mansoor Ahmed, Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, Belayet Hossen Ripon, Imran Kader Turjo, Khandakar Shaiful Islam, M. Ishfaq Ahsan, Md Abdul Hannan, Mohammed Zakaria Wahid, Md. Mohsin Rabbani, Md. Shahriar Syeed, Md. Jamal Uddin Miah, Nanda Dulal Saha, Ratan Kumar Saha, Md. Moniruzzaman, Mohammad Nazrul Islam, Rajiv Chowdhury, Minhazul Hoque, Mamunur Rashid, Rakib Sobhan Miah, Salah Uddin Ahmed.
Representing the Chattogram region, the elected directors are:
Ahammed Noor Faisal, Mohammed Shamsul Azam, Fouzul Imran Khan, Mohammad Salim, Abdul Barek and Md. Yasin.
With a full panel elected unopposed, BKMEA is now poised to continue its leadership and advocacy for the country's knitwear sector with renewed focus and unity.
