To build up a factory totally compliant BKMEA Fire Safety Cell is conducting safety training on different safety issues to its member factories from 2009 to till now.
For making this training effective & fruitful BKMEA Fire Safety Cell published a book entitled “Fire safety training manual” which is essential for the people working especially in the ready made garment industry. This book was published in October 2009. There are two chapters in this book. Such as-
- Definition of Fire &
- Fire drill Preparedness.
After reading this book you will be able to understand what fire is, types of fuel, fire extinguishing method, causes of fire, electrical safety, fire equipment’s, prevention of fire accidents & fire drill preparedness. This book is also important for other industries who want to ensure their employee & factory risk free.

To increase fire safety awareness among knitwear workers & to create fire risk free working environment; BKMEA Fire Safety Cell is given safety training about fire safety & rescue techniques to its knitwear garments workers very effectively & relentlessly from 2009 to till now. The main goal of this type of training in knitwear garments industry is to create a risk free working environment by trained up the employees & workers.
Making these training activities easy, Fire Safety Cell published a book named “Fire safety training manual” especially for knitwear industry in November 2013. The name of these chapters is;

- Others
By reading this book one can know; principle of fire burning, electrical safety for industries, necessity of fire drill, first aid, chemical safety, preventive measure of fire accident, emergency fire service number, BNBC-2006, Labor Act-2006, Fire prevention & Extinction Act 2003 etc.
Other industries such as chemical industry, drug industry & leather industry etc. can follow this book as their safety guideline.
