China is the single giant having an export value of US $ 1400.16 million export of knitwear in Canada. Bangladesh occupies the second position with an export of US $ 219.59 millions in 2006. Cotton t-shirt, cotton sweater, MMF sweater etc are the top imported items by Canada. Bangladesh enjoys the GSP facility which requires only 25% of local value addition. Proper marketing planning can be a useful instrument in grabbing a significant market share.
