Though Bangladesh exports only US $ 8.93 millions worth of knitwear products in 2007, it has been successful to achieve highest growth rate among all competing countries. Bangladesh also enjoys duty free quota free access in Australia since 2003.Australia knitwear market is very competitive due to the removal of the import quotas and the reduction in the import duties. The consumers is relatively low price seeker and used to order in small volume. The most efficient way of approaching Australian importers is through their appointed buying agents in the particular countries.
