The exposition was organized in collaboration with GTZ. Prime Bank and Bangla-CAT also were the other key sponsors. BKMEA thinks that, this exposition will strengthen the position of Bangladeshi Knitwear Products in home and abroad.

Achievements from the Exposition

The most significant achievement of the fair is the dissemination of knit as the leading export earning sector of the country. The elucidation of BKMEA as the guardian of knit sector to country and abroad is another achievement. Through this arrangement BKMEA has confirmed their views to meet the challenge of open market competition in 2008 and onward. Again, local producers got knowledge about future demand of market. Buyers and visitors from different parts of the world got the information regarding latest production items and strength of Bangladeshi Knitwear. It is hoped that this exposition will strengthen the collaboration between local manufacturers and the international market in a new dimension.
