BKMEA arranged the 5th Bangladesh Knitwear Exposition on 2-4 November, 2009 at Sheraton Hotel, Dhaka, Bangladesh. In this year, the expo witnessed the ever largest amalgamation of buyers and manufacturers from different parts of the world. Here, two buyers are seen visiting a stall with keen interest.

BKMEA arranged the 2nd Workers’ Festival on 18 December, 2009 at Osmani Stadium, Narayanganj. Engg. Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Minister of Labor, Employment & Expatriates Welfare and Advocate Shamsul Hoque Tuku, the State Minister for Home joined this day long event. As reported in the prominent national daily, about hundred fifty thousand workers enjoyed the festival with highly festive mood.
