BKMEA arranged the 5th Bangladesh Knitwear Exposition on 2-4 November, 2009 at Sheraton Hotel, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Mr. Fazlul Hoque, President, BKMEA is awarding the Honb'le Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina with a crest during the Inauguration Session.

BKMEA arranged the 2nd Workers’ Festival on 18 December, 2009 at Osmani Stadium, Narayanganj. Engg. Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Minister of Labor, Employment & Expatriates Welfare and Advocate Shamsul Hoque Tuku, the State Minister for Home joined this day long event. As reported in the prominent national daily, about hundred fifty thousand workers enjoyed the festival with highly festive mood.
